Sorry for the lack of updates. The hitch turned out to be the LEAST of our problems! But yes, hitch installation went well. The custom hitch place referred us to a welder who took care of it. Poor Cheese_Wagon has been stuck with dealing with mechanical issues as we pour money into trying to get the old gal home... A rough maiden voyage!

Easy class 5 Hitch for Int 3800 Front Engine Bus

As I read someplace on these forums I used a BW Hitch bought on Amazon.
Model HDRH25122. Class 5.
No welding or modifications needed. Only drill 6 holes on bottom channel of Frame. (Remove Tow Hook Assy. first in my case).
Frame is 34 inches wide measured from outer borders.
Worked out great.
