how do i swap out a rear indicator assembly?

Its a 3800 international, 1995 with a carpenter body. I need to change the right rear indicator assembly. How do i do it? Looking at the new one, it has two wires and that's it. Is there some hatch or something somewhere that lets me access something to attach the wires to? How are they attached?

After this i have non functioning reversing lights to attend to.

Found it! Somebody had glued a plastic splash guard over a piece of plywood they had also glued to the metal plate that covers the access to the rear of the assembleys.

As far as I can tell, somebody did a lot of sub par work on the bus then never used it.
