I was wondering about how many Skoolies are there today in America? Does anyone know?

There really is no way of determining close #'s, due to the many innovative ways folks have chosen in reregistering them in every state...

I know of maybe five skoolies in the Philadelphia MSA. Whatever the total is, we're not adding much to it around here.

It's a difficult figure to count. But thousands would be an accurate assessment. This site really has a small following compared to the larger amount of skoolie owners IMO.

I've seen close to 100 buses who's home is within an hour from me, probably a dozen within 10 miles of me, and none of them are members on here. Coincidentally, the members on here that are within an hour of me, I've never seen in person .

Thousands seems to be a good number.

I live in a town of 80,000. There are 6 of us. If we are average (I've no idea if we are or not) extrapolating that out would put the number nationwide at around 5000. Though that seems low to me.

50 States x 100 skoolies = 5,000
50 States x 200 skoolies = 10,000
50 States x 300 skoolies = 15,000

2018 RV ownership in U.S. was ~480,000

U.S. Population 2019 - 328M
U.S. Population over 18yo - 78% of 328M = 256M

Percentage of Adult American's who own RVs 480k / 256M = .002

Washington state has about 4.8M adults x .002 = 9,600 potential RV owners

1% of 9,600 = 96

DIY, Irreverent hippies, those who can't afford a commercial diesel pusher, etc.. Do I think out of 9,600 potential RV owners in WA state there would be 96 skoolie owners? Yes, I do think so.

Seems to me, there are easily 5,000 nationwide. 10,000 wouldn't surprise me.

Now that that is inconclusively not solved, how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie pop?
