I am looking at a bus to convert (I would be a first time owner)

I am looking at a 2005 international school bus.
48k miles
I talked to the seller he said that the break module needs to be replaced and that he has the part. He will provide the part but labor is roughly $300.
Also, the parking break and service break lights came on. Is that a big problem or will the break module replacement fix it?
Listing says its a DT466 Engine MAXXFORCE

I did some research and it says those are 2 different engines. Does anyone on here know the difference?

Thanks

I might be mistaken but i believe the maxxforce motors came out in 2007.
Grab the vin number, call an international stealer parts dept and ask them to send you a line ticket/ build sheet in the vin.

As far as the brake motor goes, have the seller install it and negotiate the labor cost into the sale price.a 2005 bus with such low mileage….i would put a scanner on it and read the mileage/engine hours from the computer.
