I just met a nomad....

In an old ford econoline van!!!
He said in the last 13 months, he's traveled the United States 6 times!
From Washington state headed to Maine this time
He designed his water heater shower to recirculate 2 gallons of hot water using 2 whole house water filters and a marine pump.
Running 3 sets of HF solar panels to 6 marine batteries...
He popped open the back doors to show me his fold out kitchen like the old teardrop trailers.

I wanted to take pictures so bad! But, I didn't want to disrespect his space.
I told him about Skoolie.net, I hope he shows up!
Lots of great ideas in a much more limited space!

Man! I hope he shows up too! 61-67 Econolines are another passion of mine.

We have seen many nomads in old and newer model vans. Youtube has some. A couple have older single women living in them nomading.

Some have solar. All kinds of people living on the road many stay at BLM or state parks.
