Are you going to have it towed or trailered? I had mine brought from CA to NM on a trailer. Was a no hassle deal. My son did the same. His had $$ thousands of fees against it.

Better have a FAT wallet if shipping a bus even a few hundred miles.

For a recent example, I got 3 quotes last month to trailer a non-running bus from Northern California to Northern Arizona. All of them were in the $3800-4000 range. If it could be towed, on its own tires, that might have been less. This was for a non-running bus on a flatbed (Landoll type) trailer.

If it's in running condition you might try Uship. They'll get a driver out there to pick it up and drive it to your destination. You list your vehicle and locations on the site and moving/trucking companies will bid on it or make you offers. I just had my Blue Bird moved 2200 miles for 2k. They paid for gas and lodging.

In 2015 I had my bluebird shipped from central CA to south east NM $2800.00 I did shop it and found a few trucks that were in CA looking for a load out and got a deal. I would have lost 5 days work, plus the fuel, hotels and food plus the peace of mind of not breaking down. I felt it was worth it. On my son's Crown again central CA, there was almost $5000 worth of fees and penalties against it and could not get a permit to drive it out so I waited until my brother was bringing in a drill rig from TX and had the driver bring it back for $2600. It got the driver out of CA the same day. So I think we did good. CA just didn't get their money. Oh well. I have used u ship for tractors and other things too. You just have to be willing to wait. Some times that is not possible.
