IKEA furniture in a skoolie

I’d love to hear from those of you that have fastened down traditional furniture in your skoolie versus built in... we are trying to decide on our floorplan and are comparing the two options...

Specifically...
1. Were you able to fasten it down so it won’t move around?
2. Do you wish you would have done built in furniture... instead?
3. Why did you choose regular furniture over built in?

Thanks for your feedback... if you watch the video for the Ikea Inspiration you can skip to 3:33 minutes...

Sincerely
Malee Marcus

We custom built almost everything save our bathroom sink/cabinet. We found something that fit, it made sense, we went with it, it is working out well.

im using one piece of ikea furniture.. the wall mount foldimng table.. its been in since june of 2016 and is now delaminating badly so about 4 and a half years I got out of it.. say 4 years since it started to delaminate.. not bad for the price.. ill recycle it and buy another one..

if you are looking for longevity i think any type of laminated furniture will have trouble lasting through all the heat, humidity, cold, etc that busses are put through.. perhaps people that full time where their busses dont go down to 0f at night and 2 days later are in miami beach where its 85 and crazy humid..

otherwise I would want to stick to non laminated type finishes
