I'm about to do the damn thing!!

So I buy my bus this Friday and am trying to gather a handful of beginner's resources so that I can start conversion ASAP. Please share any and all helpful info with me below. I greatly appreciate it!!

I don't know what condition it would be in but make sure you bring some basic hand tools with you, a few fuses of all three types, And take your time getting used to driving it.
When you start your conversion a harbor Freight 4-in angle grinder will be your friend. As well as a corded and cordless drill. A reciprocating saw. And your regular old tools. Make a plan before you start building. Sketch it out, write it out, know where you're going to put everything before you start. Lots of people use cardboard or masking tape to represent where things inside the bus will go.

Njsurf has good advice. Removed all you can inside. Decide if you want to remove some of the heaters, or none of them. I used masking tape all over! Use the blue painting tape if you plan to remove it.

Look at lots and lots of builds, get ideas and plan plan plan. Take lots of pictures.

Hope this helps.
