This is still a 'maybe' and would *probably* happen after the basics of the conversion were done.
I'm die'n here.... can we guess what it is? If so please give us more hints, cause I'm stumped.

you can't put a jacuzzi in a bus, that would never work!

Hyperbaric chamber...or whatever it is that divers use to de-compress?

Or a sensory depravation chamber, like in the movie Jacob's Ladder?

so is that it? I was gunna guess a jaccuzzi but I think they weigh more than that (at least with the water in it) & I dont know what kind of outboard equipment there would be.

I was looking around on your posted links and see a lot of intresting pictures so I would guess maybe some sort of film developing equipement, like in a dark room?

Actually, the 'nicer' name is a 'Flotation Tank...' And they're bigger than a tub, smaller than a jaccuzzi, and the water in them has about 350 pounds of epsom salts dissolved in it to improve boyancy...

::coughs::
Nice. Looking forward to seeing your bus conversion unfold. I've found that the bus conversion crowd is a group of fine folks on many levels.

We're just over a year into ours. We thought we'd have as much time as possible, but our housing situation dictates that we finish by mid-July '06. Looking to build full-time, independent living quarters for 2 adults and 1 cat.

Anyway, good luck & welcome aboard!
