Smile Introducing ourselves: New to the skoolie life!

Hello! We are Mägs and Mary. We became drawn the skoolie community this past summer of 2018. Both of us were immediately enthusiastic about this way of life.

We started our search for the “perfect bus” around August. The idea of taking on this project and life journey together was exciting, but we also knew it would come with many challenges. We’ve studied and worked vigilantly to gain as much knowledge about the process of taking on this lifestyle.

We now have the bus, and are so excited to embark on the skoolie conversion journey. We are currently in the gutting and "discovering" phase of converting our skoolie.

Thanks to all in the community who share their knowledge and experiences of living the skoolie life.

Bus: Purchased from West Des Moines, Iowa School district through a government auction, We have a 25ft, 2002 Bluebird handicap bus (lift included) with a 5.9 Cumin’s engine and an Allison 2000 transmission.
