We saw you bidding, Begonia / CattyM. Did you get your bus? Prices sure escalated quickly.

We'll be driving (or towing, or dragging) #3509 back home.

Didn't see you bidding, Disastro. We emailed questions too and got zero response. Went ahead & risked it though. Will be finding out soon enough if we got lucky.

I didn’t. It would have been very difficult for me to get out there right now but I was really tempted.

Nothing but good luck to yas on the acquisition! 🤞
That, in the ad, they solicit inquiries, & then proceed to not respond, is yet another big ol' red flag to me...

Sounds like the kind of bus that folks are afraid to bid on. They're usually the best deals.

The less info in the listing the better. Keeps the timid "skoolie" noobs from bidding against me. lol

Nah not in 5 buses.
You sorta get a feel for it after a couple. Sorta gotta read the ads for what they are and not expect a buch of sales pitch or even sometimes basic info.
I just know at the auction prices if I don't love a bus I get I can find someone else who will and I usually make a couple thousand doing so.
Its not for everyone but for me its sure super easy and a bit fun.
I usually don't pose questions on the online auctions in a way that other bidders could glean any info from.
Calling the contact number and asking for info is the best way to find out about a bus. I don't even always do that, but its best to if unsure.

This bus we have now would probably have a pretty hefty price tag on the used market and it was only $1625.
I don't even have ten grand in this hobby and I've owned 5 running, driving buses on and off since around 02 or 03.
The supply of GOOD buses is dwindling now, though.

Thanx!
*phht!*
Not in a place (physically, phinancially, phiduciarily, metaphysically... take yer pick!) to play the bus flip game, tho I surely wish I could.
As my Gramps Vern, an old VT rock farmer, once told me,
"Wish in one hand, sh1t in the other.
"You'll see which fills first..."

They did have the option to ask questions thru their interface but .. then as mentioned earlier, others could see question/reply. They did answer a few questions there. Might be why they didn't answer emails.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Still Very excited!!

Short-term memory isn't what it once was! (What were we just taking about..?)
I looked there for a coupla other interested parties, thought it invited e-mail inquiries. Not a participant, so prolly missed stuff, not logging in.
