Its Amazing

How many people are interested in school bus conversions. Everytime I see the stats for this site I am amazed. Did you know that a new member has joined every two days since the site was made.

Either there are way more people interested in school buses than I would have ever thought.... or there are just way more people in the world than I realized

skoolies

ill tell you another thing steve, theres alot of people who dont got a skoolie that wish they did. it dont matter where i go in my second hand store-ace hardware-hunter green paint brush painted ol 84 crown that some one doesnt come over and look at it. people wave and give me the peace sign and the devil horn going down the highway all the time. never once has any one flipped me off. maybe cussed me out if they were behind me on the freeway i think it represents freedom or they think we are all living on the fringes of sociaty. hell ive worked in a paper mill for 22 years. you dont see people going over to look at no 500 thou. motor coach do ya, they will head right to the schoolie (OH CAN I LOOK AT YOUR BUS- I WANT ONE) :P see what that magic bus started. later john- n.w. oregon

you know jimmy, when i here about neighbors like yours or people in the big cities i am glad i live in the rural area. dont get me wrong here, we got some big azz cities in oregon (portland-eugene-salem-ect.)and i am sure they got your gated comunities and such. most of the people i live around are just working stiffs, plus my landlord likes my buses. out were i live your vehicles dont even have to be smog tested. but they do in the big cities. i guess thats only logical cause of all the cars. what was i talkin bout now ??? i salute the great state of TEXAS.

This thread is just up my alley. We are in the process of looking for a place somewhere in this great country. My wife is from Oregon so we will probably go to Oregon or Washington. We have been thinking about this for over a year now. We are not gated community tract house people at all. Redneck is a good way to describe us. It is getting hard to find even places 30 miles from the city with an acre or two that are affordable. Anybody know about the area around Rapid City SD? We are going to look there first then head to the NW.
