Jacuzzi or Soaking tub in the bus?

I am considering the positives and negatives of a Jacuzzi on a bus.

I figure if I cut a hole in the floor directly above the luggage compartment, I can sink a tiny tub into the space, so I can soak up to my neck after a long trip.

I remember a 1 person jacuzzi shown on a tv show long time ago, it was about 2 ft up from the floor but well over 4' deep. and it was small, no more than 4' wide.

if you are camping in a rv park, the water and electricity would be free, and this shouldn't be a problem, right?

anybody have something similar? if you do, send me a message, so I can ask you some questions.

You must be new to these forums! Check out Lapeer20m's buses. They have all had jacuzzi's in them. Go to the photo gallery. Click on Skoolies. It's the very first bus that comes up. It's black with flames. He's done two buses with full size jacuzzi's in them. I think he cut a hole in the side for one, and then cut a hole in the roof for the next. Check it out. It's pretty sweet.

actually......i've done 3 jacuzzi buses. lol

i've wanted to cut a hole and sink a jacuzzi down into the floor. The problem for me is that i don't want a single person jacuzzi, and the large 8 person jacuzzi is far too wide to fit between the frame rails.

i think that if you want to put a small soaking tub in your bus it would be very simple. It's important to have water circulate through a pump and filter unless you're going to change the water after every use.

you think he's crazy for putting a jacuzzi in the bus, ask him about driving on the beach in Texas last year... that's crazy

the jacuzzi holds between 400-500 gallons of water.


you don't wanna know about driving on the beach in texas.!......but it ended with me still wishing i had rented the dozer instead of calling the tow truck and the subsequent $5K tow bill..
