You can stream standard def currently over 802.11n but it is not fast enough to carry high def signals yet. The good thing is that HDMI cables contain the video and audio in a small digital cable. Unfortunately most tvs only have two HDMI inputs.

I use a Formac Studio DV to stream video from my DVR to my laptop or any computer in my house so that I can watch it in any room or the garage.

i'm getting ready to buy an lcd tv for the new bus tomorrow. i'm curious about how well the tv will do in the frigid cold we're havng now and with vibration going down the road. Phill and i live a couple hours from each other. At one point yesterday it was 3 times warmer at my house than it was at his. It was 3 degrees here.

Lots of lcd's are in automobiles already, including laptop's in police cars, navigation systems, dvd players etc. I htink it'll prob be ok.

I have had a regular house HDLCD tv in my bus for the last 3 years. When it is very cold the screen can be a little slow until it warms up. You only need to wait a few minutes. I have never had any problems with it, especially from vibration.

I bought a little LCD unit that is supposed to go under a kitchen cabinet and installed it on the ceiling, it works great.
