MATS truck show

I spent Fri and Sat at the MATS truck show in Louisville, KY. It's billed as the worlds largest truck show. I got a good deal on a pair of custom made mattresses.
Commercial - Sleeper Cab Mattresses - Comfort 5" - Birkova Products Store
I had toyed around with the idea of cutting something down but, these are already done and I'm not that good with a sewing machine.

I also bought these TPS sensors. While they aren't as fancy as the ones with onboard displays they aren't nearly as expensive. For my purposes I think they will do quite nicely. I do a walkaround whenever I stop anyway and it's a lot more accurate than a "thump".

LED AirGuard Set & Go - RealWheels

I also got to talk to factory people about a number of things.
Garmin showed me some better ways of using my GPS.

Don Wilson the "Tech Doctor" at Xantrex is very informative. He is doing research on lithium ion. He was going to build a skoolie but Jayco gave him such a good deal on a new class A he couldn't refuse it. While I was there I met a guy that has a $1.5 mil Blue Bird motor home.

Kyocera as a very nice looking rugged smart phone the DuroForce Pro.

If you travel in ice and snow and ever need chains this looks like the way to go. If I were still trucking I would probably go this route.

Legal in all states that require chains.

It was a fun but tiring two days.

I always miss it... if no other reason id love to go just to meet the ATN guy from 700 WLW.. that guy has kept me awake more nights then anyone can imagine...

I do wantto find a TPS with a display.. I dont suppose you got any names of any like that? seems not much online for a regular guy to purchase in that regard.

Christopher,

There were some there but I didn't talk to any of them. Right now out of my price range. I've found quite a few on line though.
