Mexico/Copper Canyon

Ok gang,

It might be farfetched but I think we should all plan to take our buses on the train through the Copper Canyon in Mexico. We take our buses to the border(not sure which town) and they load them on railroad flat cars, tie them down and off we go. We live in our buses and the train makes stops at the towns along the way and takes us down through the Copper Canyon I believe all the way to Mexico City. Then we turn around and ride the train back. Unless some want to drive and explore. Let me know. I realize it could take a while to set up, but if anyone is interested I will start looking into it.
Mexico is a great place. Beautiful with warm and friendly people.

Re: Mexico/Copper Canyon

I'll start checking into it. I read about this some years back. I have friends who have ridden the train out of San Antonio,TX through the canyon, but not in rv's. I'll figure it out and let known what I find out. I love tequila. Centenario. Mmmmm..... and some al pastor, pollo asado.....sorry

Re: Mexico/Copper Canyon

Doh! Looks like the Mexican government has stopped piggy-back trains through Copper Canyon now...

But there are alternatives available.

Some videos of it are here:
