Can anyone tell me why my bus decided one day to quit starting? Batteries are fully charged, but when I turn the key, the engine doesn't try to turn over. It clicks one time and it is done. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Did you make any electrical changes. If you can find the starter tried jumping 12-volt directly to the starter to make sure that is not the culprit. If the starter turns over follow the wires back to solenoid and jump the solenoid to see if that might be the culprit. If it's not the starter or the solenoid. check ignition switch.
If you changed anything electrical, put it back and try that first.
With the "one click", I immediately think of some sort of safety interlock or an emergency window. Sometimes that will happen, even without alarms and buzzers. Check emergency windows and hatches 1st as that is the easiest thing....

I'm an idiot. The bus was not in neutral. It looked like it was, but upon closer inspection, I determined that it was actually in reverse. Anyway, thank God it was an easy fix =)
