No doubt Spooky will be relieved with her return.

Just take it slow and don't rush it. I screwed myself up big time by trying to get back to work too soon after major surgery and I am still paying the price years later.

I remember those days with Lin. It got to be a pain in the arse, but now she's gone I'd do it again just to be back with her. My thoughts are with you both (and Spooky too)!

Nurse Don, ask the doc about the withdrawls from mary's painkillers. I had an awful time for about 4 months this year from similar meds. Was not fun!
Just a headsup, hope it all works out well.

Don and Mary. I'm so glad to hear Mary's coming home!! When I had my surgery they nicked my bowel and so my favorite nurse told me they were waiting for a 'farty party!' Mary is doing better than I was!

Short walks will help keep things moving, so to speak, and I know her Nurse will take excellent care of her!!

Had a good day with Mary today, she is eating and doing well. Took Spooky on her walk and a neighbor had a friend over to visit. This friend thought it would be funny (I guess) to grab a 20 lb cat by the ass. He hurt her and she instantly retaliated. He got a painful lesson and blamed her, threatening to shoot her. We left.
Jerk.

Q: Why are flies better than people who hurt animals?

A: It's not a crime to use a flyswatter!

There's no place like home. Mary's home and resting comfortably.

Nurse Don on duty.

Glad to hear your wife has come home. Sorry about Spooky, some folks don't realize crap about critters. Some folks just blame the critters when they defend their selves. Dumb ass don't realize that critters can't speak to say what is wrong.

I know someone who can't tell when he's taken a joke too far with his fellow human beings. And when the target yells at him to stop, he's like, "Why are you so mad?" Animals? Fugetaboutit!

My late gf Lin called her pets "the little people."
