Was out checking on my bus and feeding my friend's dogs this weekend and this dog showed up. SO MANY of these get dumped on the outskirts of Apopka/Zellwood. Its seriously one of the friendliest dogs I've come across in a while and I couldn't bear to put her down or to let anyone else do so.
SO- we put up a big kennel where my carport was and built her a really redneck "dog shack" to keep her dry when it rains.
I've had dogs before but am totally a cat person, but this dog just makes me smile so much!
She was covered in fleas worse than I've ever seen and it looks like she's been having puppies. Glad she has a real home now!
Haven't named her yet. Thinking of going with "Dixie".
