Non-scrubbing awning cleaner
What do you guys use?
I've got a camper(vinyl?) awning on the bus. It's gotten moldy/mildewy/gross over the years sitting outside. I tried the "30 seconds outdoor algae/mold/mildew cleaner" from my local ace. It worked okay, but there are still spots that remain. I also tried my go-to super clean in the purple jug, and that didn't remove them either. I thought about the camco stuff, but they want you to use a brush to apply and scrub, and this is a big awning that I'd rather not do that on.
The fabric was new when I purchased it years ago, and is in good shape with no tears or cuts, so I don't think I need to replace it just yet.
Any other chemicals you can think of? It's got some rust spots too, so I might hit it some spots with clr next. I also considered firing up the hot pressure washer, but I don't want to ruin the awning either.......
