Only A Week and Look what I've Learned

It's been a little over a week since becoming a forum member and I spent a couple of weeks lurking. Every forum has it's particular lingo that is unique to either the forum itself or to the topic it focuses on. Of course, many online forums share some of the same lingo and acronyms. So, here are a few that I picked up from here.
  • Dog nose/snout - Not just on Fido
Dog house - Not just for Fido
    Furkid - Fido [1]
Diesel Pusher - Not some seedy character on the street corner selling engines (Ok, I knew this one already from hanging out at RV parks)
Sticks -n- Staples - Hmmmm. Describes how my travel trailer is constructed and why I think I can do better myself with a bus. Why I'm here.

Those are just a few that I remember.

Add some more as you think of them. Serious or not so serious... doesn't matter.

[1] Fido/Phydo - generic name for a pet, not just for a dog.

Furkid is also for cats and any other fuzzy, semi-fuzzy or follically challenged pet who thinks it is a family member.

Right. That's why I included this disclaimer:

When we travel, we carry two cats and a guinea pig as our "furkids" and leave the dog at home. One of my daughter's comes over to feed Dandy. Besides, Dandy has guard duty and can't go.
