I love the color too! Has anyone heard anything about using Majic Paint's Tractor, Truck & Implement Oil Base Enamel available at Tractor Supply? I saw it used in YouTube videos.

From Majic's website... "Our Tractor, Truck, & Implement Enamel is formulated for superior durability and easy application. The colors match original equipment colors. It is made with 100% U.S. grown soybeans. This fine product gives our alkyd paint products added durability, better adhesion, and provides non-yellowing capabilities. A catalyst and hardener round out the product selection to provide a perfect paint system."

Have not used that, but looks interesting. Catalyst/hardener means it will dry quicker and be glossier. Company has been around for century. Made of 100% soybeans is odd.

i like the price of tractor enamel and if you find a shade that is close but too dark you can mix a bit of white in it to lighten colors are limited but i used it on tractors and it worked great

I thought it being made of soybeans was a bit strange too, lol! Mixing in white to lighten colors is a good idea.

I actually started with gallon of white as a base and added color- it takes little color to get what you want. Make extra if you blend your own color.
