Don't forget many recipes that use pork chops can also be made with chicken and vice versa.
I like to use pork steaks (sliced Boston Butt roast) over center cut pork loin chops because it is juicier and more flavourful to us. It also holds up better in a crockpot recipe. Same reason I use (boneless skinless) chicken thighs in most recipes rather than chicken breast meat.
