What Danjo said. I used clear RTV on mine. I hope you're doing your diligence in taking up and repairing any potential floor issues. Even if there is no rust showing on the underside, remember that a lot of these buses get a simple hosing out for cleaning, and that can lead to water retention in the floor. Just my $0.02.

"Best" ??? That is a loaded question on this forum. Perhaps welding them? Gluing peices of plastic? Filling with JB Weld? Filling with two-part epoxy? Etc.
