Question

I know not all busses are created equal so I'm looking for an informed guess. When I get a bus it's goung to be 72 or 77 passinger. dont know if it makes a diffrence, but it'll be conventional. I would like to know, how long from back of drivers seat to rear?
I bought a CAD program and I want to play with the interior.

I hope this will help, I have a 67 passenger skoolie (66 children @ 3 per seat + 1 driver) and I have 28' 3"L x 7' 2"W of useable floor space behind the driver's seat.

I have 11 passenger windows per side behind the driver's seat that measure 28-3/4" center post to center post. Based on this, a 77 passenger bus would have 2 additional windows per side for an additional 4' 9" giving you a total useable length of 33'. Maybe this will give you something to play with on your CAD program!

I know I had a fun time CAD-ing out mine, & even though I have pretty much decided on my configuration, I still play around with it! Have fun!

Where in NC?

Griff, where are you at in NC? I'm in the Greenville/Spartanburg area in SC. You wouldn't happen to be near Brunswick county, just north of Myrtle Beach, would you? That's where the bus that I am interested in is located.

Wow! Sorry, kinda stupid of me not to mention that! The wheel wells on mine start exactly 9' from the rear of the bus. They are 3' 6" long, 2' wide and 9-1/2" tall at their higest point from the original rubber flooring.
