question on bus price

first time buying a bus conversion,, tempted by a 1967 GMC 35' ad seys the bus runs good and the interior is 90% redone,, they're asking 25,000 and that seems too high to me,,,, what are your thoughts?

You need to tell us a lot more details. Who is the coach/body built by, what is the power train? Then we can opine and bloviate.

I love the power train. If it is original.

IF we're talking about the same bus, as we likely are, the fact it's been for sale for 3 years probably means the seller's price point has kept it out of the hands of a new owner?

$20k price drop might get some action for the seller, but it still needs finish work.
That could add significant cost depending on how deep a new owner wants to take it.

Cool style though, if the same bus...

The $20k price drop was 2 years ago. I think it's in the ball park of being reasonable now from the work I can see, but the fact it hasn't sold at that price in that span is concerning. Definitely needs to be checked out.

Their "baby on the way" will be in school before they sell at that price.

I am not saying it isn't "worth" the price

Just that an objective "fair value" is a fantasy concept

until they find a buyer with cash in hand that loves it.

And IMO to attract those kind of buyers, needs to lovely aesthetically, instagrammable at the outset, much more important to the market than functionality.

And the worst cause of harm mechanically is just sitting there month after month.

Great 1967 GMC RV Conversion!
This bus has capacity of 4-6 passengers. It has a comfy living room, kitchen, toilet, shower, king bed, single bed.
The bus runs and drives great and the air ride suspension works beautifully.
The vehicle is equipped for satellite TV
The bus has A/C and heat
All original manuals
RV Domb lights work
Pumps work
6,000 watt generator runs great and powers the interior electrical supply.
Or power your house during outages

Clean title

This is a great RV conversion! Done by my Uncle in Oregon like 12 yrs ago since then he has passed and the vehicle has been passed down to me and I am having no time to get it licensed and tabs, I have a clean and free Oregon Title.
The reason to sell all the features are in great shape except it would be nice to put new floors and furniture and the rear A/C heater stopped working and I unplugged it to replace it but don't want to sink any money into it since I am having a baby and wont be traveling any time soon. Brakes, floors, air conditioning are good I have gone over the windshield and other windows and on the roof cocking it all and re-sealing everything making sure its water proof.
This bus is ready to go! Use it as is or put new floors and what you want. But the hard part is all done. Now its time to just beautify it in your style.
