She's home!!!

The Black Pearl is finally home and parked beside my house!!! I'm so freaking excited. Time to get started!!!

The way I feel right now is indescribable. It almost feels as if I'm dancing with lollipops on unicorn wishes. I know it won't last long because as soon as I run into an unexpected problem the feeling will disappear. But until then I will savor the feeling and work like an Alaskan sled dog!!!

WOO HOOOOOO!!!

I'm already pulling out the seats, and they're a lot easier to remove than I thought they'd be.

Not only did the feeling last, for me it grew better. Less overwhelming as the months passed, and so fulfilling as the build progressed. I moved in the first night she was home lol (I know right?!)

But there are days when i wake up and am still amazed that it worked, that there is room on Earth for a way that fits me. And when i turn the key and put her in gear, i tell ya i can imagine the infinite Normally i drive about 30 miles and then bring her back home, i'm a bit more catlike in my traveling style.

And the stormy evenings i sit by the wood stove with the kitty on my lap, watching Hogans Heros on a LED tv that is powered by the previous days sunshine, well i can't describe the joy i feel. Never could quite measure up to the 9to5 life or hold a job steady enough to buy a home, and appaarently the Universe never even wanted me to

Enjoy!

Quite a few of us in central FL. A few in St Pete, too!
You should come by some weekend, or maybe we could all get together somewhere.

I agree 100% - No matter how or how much, Once it is in YOUR driveway, the sense of relief is enormous. The Object is now at YOUR disposal, at your timeframe.

Good luck, We feed on pictures here, need to update your sig to reflect on your insanity, nay, purchase/victory.

Probably mid afternoon. I will be mowing till about 1, then I'll be heading out to the bus. May be a little later.
But if you want to come out and meet Dave, I'm sure he would LOVE to meet you and wouldn't turn down an extra set of hands.
Not sure what work will be going on if any until I can get there, but Dave is there and you know where it is now!

Just got finished removing the seats. It took me like 2 hrs to get the 1st one out. After trying a few different methods i went and bought an air gun kit. A lot of the bolts were rusted on so I cut em off with the angle grinder. All in all it took me about 3 working hours total. I have pictures that I will post once I get them from my phone to the laptop.
