Shout out!

I am on one of the skoolie FB sites. There was a bus owned by a presumably young woman who really had no clue about the mechanics of these and went on one of their first long trips. Apparently she had a coolant leak and didn't have money to get it to a shop let alone what to look for. She was holed in at a truck stop in Flagstaff, AZ. So here comes Ross with an o-ring to try and help her out from a leaking overflow tank. I am proud to be a part of a group of people who are genuine and unselfish. Ross, that is awfully nice of you to go and help these people. I only hope we all can see the generousness and help out others when we can.

Thanks, Simon! It just happened to be luck that they were 15 minutes from my house and in the direction I needed to go while running errands...so I stopped by. It turns out they needed a new coolant reservoir cap, as the one they had was shot and the gasket was not repairable. I ordered one at Napa while I was in Flag and will pick it up, then drop it off with them, tomorrow.

The bigger issue, sadly, is that they're getting a bit of oil into the coolant. That is a more serious `issue than I can help with. But at least we got the coolant loss issue sorted out.

This forum is full of good people and I'm lucky to have made some great friendships with other members here.

That's good all around. RVT, you're a great part of this helpful community. Thanks to Mr. Bus'n for calling out a good deed.
