Sketchy / Lazy sellers?

I am new to the skoolie world, but not to the automotive world....I am wondering, what is the reason that most of the people I encounter selling school buses are either super sketchy or too lazy to take a picture or spend 5 mins. walking outside to use a tape measure?

In the 50 or so buses I have looked at online, I would say 40% of those people have gotten back to me, and it is a 50/50 split of people who are trying to 3x their purchase price or people who have had one sitting in their backyard for 3 years, but won't confirm if the bus runs, let alone how many miles are on it.

Rant off....thoughts?

I share your pain, I'm currently awaiting a reply from a CL seller. We discussed what we can over text, he/she doesn't know which transmission is behind the DT466 and I just want to make sure it isn't a 545. I asked when I could come take a look (I'm only a few miles from bus location) but for the life of me cannot get a response now.

Sellers market.
They're both motor vehicles but selling a bus is nothing like selling a car. Its like shooting fish in a barrel.
