Skoolie festival where/when?

hi.. i went inside a 10 window high roof bus at my sons school yesterday.. the driver was nice to let me look inside... i found it to be small not like the videos i seen on YouTube which looks more spacious .. by that said i think best thing for me to do is actually see a converted skoolie to get a better feel.. im in Miami and want to know where and when i can see a skoolie festival schedule if there is such a thing... thank you

I think we're going to the Georgia Skoolie Swarm next month, not aware of anything actually in Florida until February.

There's a guy here in Bozeman that just started hosting a bus/tiny home meetup. I'm not sure how frequently these events will occur but I'll keep this thread in my sub list and post the next time I see one. Blunderbuss is his alias. Tate Chamberlin, actual name. He might even be a member here but I'm not sure.

Here's his Facebook: https://m.facebook.com/iamblunderbuss/

And here's the last events news coverage: https://www.ktvh.com/news/local-news...ted-into-homes

Is that a tiny house sales event or a skoolie gathering?

Nah, feels wrong to me to pay to go to that. I love the spirit of the event Trav and Michelle put together. The swarm. That's what I envisioned when we threw a skoolie gathering a few years ago. Nothing for sale, no charge for entry, just a place to meet different folks.
The guy who builds and sells those gypsy wagons lives near me and I know him. I've been to one of his sales events before and would hate to get stuck at another.

From what I read, it's free to attend for skoolies!

Here is their registration page, info is on there!

That form looks to be for their Tiny Home registration ... are they using the same form for skoolies as well?
