Skoolie Inspection in Maine

Hi everyone!
I am currently scheduled for an inspection of the skoolie tomorrow. the bus is practically done apart from the plumbing. The bus is fully insured and also registered here in Maine. I'm not quite sure what I need to do for the inspection. It is booked in at a place that specializes in heavy motor vehicles. Does it need to be inspected as a school bus? motor home? Does it even need registering?

Is an inspection required in Maine? It's not something done here in Ga., except for the insurance company.

Welcome to the site.

I currently live in a border town to Maine and have friends living there.
The state does require annual registration and annual safety inspections on all motor vehicles registered there.

Hopefully it is now titled as a RV and not a commercial bus or anything else.

Why is it booked in at a place that specializes in heavy motor vehicles?
