Skoolie storage needed

Hello!
We may need a place to store our 40ft bus for 10 months, starting late July. I don't really trust storage facilities, and would be way more comfortable knowing the bus is on a private property, under the care of a fellow skoolie owner.
The best would be an old barn, but it may be too much to ask
Anybody?
Thanks!

Hi Sebastien,

I'm assuming you're leaving Mexico

I know RockNRuth have offered their property to those who need a place to do their conversion. Maybe they would be open to storing your bus??

Per having it under cover, here in WA, I simply covered mine with a good tarp to keep it protected from the weather (rain mostly, but a bit of snow too). I was actually very impressed with how well it worked.

The tarp draped down past the windows, and then I would open a couple of windows just a bit to allow some fresh air during warm weather, even when it rained.

Yes, we'll probably leave Mexico by the end of the month, and still don't know where to store the bus (Mexico or USA). We'll be back on our trip South mid-2022. By then, the situation (COVID) in South America should be better. We'll leave the bus and put this journey on hold (only to hop on another 10 months adventure, if everything goes well).

I would expect Mexico is the best bet to store a bus. There are lot of marinas that store boats along the coast, could store a bus too I'd bet.

The marinas, yes, I didn't think about that. Thanks for the idea.
