So now I have a transmission core. where I can sell this?

I replaced my transmission, and now I have a core sitting around. Which i need to get rid of. Id really hate to take it to the junk yard when I know cores are worth at least a couple hundred. Where could I take it and get a decent price?

Im in Southern california.

Does it have a lot of aluminum in it? Funny I would ask this since I have one sitting under my bus. Aluminum is worth a pretty penny right now. You might call a school district and ask if they know of anybody.
