I just used them to lift my bus tires a foot off the ground a few months ago.

My suspension only had 8 inches of drop from full compression. So yes I could use them to change a tire.

You could also add limit straps from the axles to the frame. They use them alot in the 4x4 industry. The limit straps look like big seat belt straps.

what is the model # on those bulldog jacks? do they have an axel that connects each pair so they lift in tandem? and if so, can that axel be disconnected?

What model bulldog jacks are those?

Did you weld the mounting bracket on or did they come like that ready to bolt on?
