Starting procedure for a 2002 Chevy BlueBird diesel?

Hello,
I just purchased a 2002 Bluebird (Chevy) that has been sitting for 2 - 3 years without starting. I cant find any printed manual in the bus and can only find a service type .pdf manual online. Does anyone know where I could find a simple guide that shows the proper start-up procedure for my bus? A flow chart type would be great...I'm not sure what I'm looking for though.

My bus is a 72 passenger bus with with a Cat diesel engine.

Thanks in advance for any replies. I'm not sure that I'm just going to jump in and try to start the bus without priming and draining anything but I might have to. Not much time to spare and it's getting colder every day. If I would just crank it over a couple of cranks would I be damaging anything?

Thanks again!
Regards,
Tim
