The RV version of this forum is a joke; Skoolie people are just better

Okay dudes, just... wow I have to share this. I've been a member here for a bit, it's great, everyone is just genuinely helpful. I am not an influencer, but I do 'fix it videos' for most of my projects, whether it be my cars, boats, skoolie, etc.

Anyway, I picked up a pop up A-frame camper, and because they're made by so many different companies, it looks like the biggest forum to talk about them is the IRV2 forum. So, since I have an RVLife ID, I went over there, signed in, and tried posting a 'build thread' on my A-frame.

The mods deleted my post, and claimed it was not appropriate since I put a youtube video link in my post. Like, I just do videos to show people how to do something or fix something, I'm not selling anything for a company, and this admin said that's not allowed, but if I screenshot the video a bunch of times and type everything manually, it's allowed.

lmfao. I always knew skoolie people thought RV owners tended to be douchebags, but holy ****, this is unreal.

Skoolie People > RV people

Cannot say it enough. Rich, angry boomers who just get off on control and acting better than others. I'm never posting there again. Anybody know of a good pop up camper forum?

Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers seems right up your alley. We're in the process of building our own Gypsy Wagon vardo on a utility trailer and I've found tnttt a pretty good resource. You can always start a post here too....I don't imagine anyone would care all that much, it's always cool to see what people are building and a travel trailer is kinda "skoolie-adjacent"

Especially skoolie-adjacent if you pull your popup with your bus!

Skoolie shows up and it’s like your daughter dating a tattooed carny worker. The animosity will always exist. Embrace it. Be controversial. You’re in a pop up it’s even worse! Looks like you’re from Milwaukee, next assumption is you’re drunk right now. I’m drinking a PBR as I type, Milwaukee’s finest. Haters gonna hate. Forget’em and do what you do.
