This...is what I want

Except for the fact that is a 5.9...hmmm. Also, 36,000 GVWR and I dont have a CDL any longer. [sigh]

Wonder how this would do around the US?

Re: This...is what I want

the 5.9 is one of the best skoolie engines you can find.

in most states, you do not need any special license or endorsements to drive a converted skoolie as it falls into the RV/private coach category.

I'm far more fond of the DT-466 but you dont I cant seem to find any pushers with them. The 5.9 concerns me traveling through the mountains, which we do a bit of.

5.9 Cummins with an MT643 trans, road A/C, factory stereo, only 166,887 miles...geez, talk about a perfect bus!

Too bad it's 2500 miles from me and costs ten grand.

Re: This...is what I want

Every one is worry about CDL, to drive there skoolie,,,,,this is in all states when your skoolie is been change over to an rv ,you dont need a CDL. ,i have check on this,Now if you have air brakes you may want to get a class B with air indosment.showing that you can drive an air powed brake vech.
