Thoughts on 2006 International with VT365 and Allison 2000 series

I'm going to look at a 2006 International CE200 with a VT365 and an Allison 2000 series transmission. Mileage is 150k. What information can anyone provide about this engine and transmission? I don't know yet which exact transmission model it has until i see it in person tomorrow.
Thanks for any advice.

VT365 is a pretty small underpowered engine. that in combination with all the emission requirements that are required in a 2006 engine, make it not desirable. the Allison 2000 is good. The VT365 is essentially the same 6.0l diesel they put in Ford trucks from 2004-2007 before moving on to the 6.4l for a few more troubled years, and then to the 6.7 in 2011 which they are still using.

where are you? do you plan on a lot of elevation travel? mountain passes?

Unless you're a competent diesel tech with money to burn I'd run from that bus.

Thank you for your comments. I'm in Texas and don't plan on large elevation travel. It will only be used for hunting, fishing and camping trips never longer than one week.
