tire suggestions for a winter conditions to summer conditions drive

Hi!
We are driving from Calgary to Pacific coast Mexico.
We are planning to leave in December, so we will be hitting some winter conditions on Mountain passes and then into summer conditions. We will be heading back in April/May-ish so, kind of the same thing.
We want to get some tires that will do well for the passes, but also be okay in the hotter conditions (longevity). I've only had one quote from Kaltire so far and they suggested Michelin tires. I'm open to all suggestions. Safety is our first priority and we are planning to wait out any big storms we may come across. We are also getting chains.
Thanks in advance.

What vehicle?

You’re intending to use chains in snow?

Oh. Just realized how old this thread was. Probably no answer due to lack of the info I just asked

For posterity then.....

Use a Bandag Recap BDR-AS Version. If you're concerned that Mexican highway temps are going to mess with the recap durability, and your willing to buy a set of virgins(talking about tires), then use Bridgestone M799's.

ive been running uniroyal RD30's in the rear of my DEV bus for 7 and a half years now.. they wear good and have held up perfectly.. they have a decently aggressive tread pattern wit ha closed shoulder.. you definitely hear the "woowoowoo" on the road but ive never gotten that bus stuck in the snow.. of course they are a drive-position only tire and acant be rotated with steers..

they bite hard enough I can get traction in somewhat icey snow enough to do donuts in parking lots
