Toilet...which one and why?

I would like a RV toilet. I don't want to spend tons of money, but I don't what a cheapo either. I saw one that looked good. I have seen them for less $$, but this is the model.

Has anyone bought or used one of these? I do want china. After all, this is a throne. Any other suggestions would be good too. I would like to keep the price around $150-175 or less. Sorry if this has been discussed somewhere else. I tried a search and came up with way too many pages. Thanks.

You might want to check out an Ebay power seller named Tri-State Surplus... he usually has China Bowl TV toilets in his store, and they are much cheaper in price, and they are brand new too. I've bought from him over a dozen times, he's a great seller with great prices!!

Thanks for pointing out Tri-state, but shipping would wipe out any savings. Shipping for a toilet seat cover that is $15.95 costs $15.17 and shipping for a $15.95 sink is $41.16. If I was close to him, I could pick a toilet up, but that is not the case.

To my good friend Phil, I have worked too long and hard in my life to buy a toilet like that if I could get a decent toilet for $75 more. That will be $75 less that I leave to my kid when I go to that big school bus in the sky.

Chuck, have you had any problems with your toilet? Does it work like it's supposed to?

Yeah I'd much rather go with the fancy water "flushin" toilet too. I was just pointing out the simple/cheap alternative they sell... The toilet itself is $75 less, but you wouldn't need a holding tank, wouldn't have to run water lines ect.. so it's actually a lot less. Granted you are basically crapping into an old grocery bag on a plastic stand, which I guess beats goin in the woods.

I didn't think it'd be something you'd be interested in, I was posting it for others that read this thread as another toilet option.

I think saving grey water in a bucket from the sink is a great idea. I will start my search for the best price now.
