Top Gear: Bus Jump

This is a clip from one of my favorite show Top Gear. They decided to see how many bikes they could jump with a bus. The insane part is that they are actually trying to jump them with a DOUBLE DECKER bus.

Does Top Gear play in our country on a channel I might actually have (no, I don't have the BBC)? I've heard fantastic things about the show, but the only episode I've ever actually seen is the one with the Toyota Hi-Lux. It brought a little tear to my eye when that thing still ran like new, valvetrain tick and all, after pulling it up from the ocean.

No Top Gear does not play in America, they made a version of it called Fifth Gear that aired on Discovery for a while. The only way to watch it is by downloading it.

i thought their logo for 5th gear was really cool

i had to look at it more than once before i got it. It's a shift pattern for a 5 speed.

http://www.alluc.org has links to many episodes of Top Gear, including my favorite, the one where they try and destroy the Toyota Hi-Lux. If only the diesel was available in the US for more than 2 years in the 4wd's.....If it weren't such a chore in terms of transmission and transfer case, there'd be a 4BT Cummins in my truck right now.[/url]
