Transport help

Hi all-

I bought a bus in Oklahoma and need to get it back to California. Something just came up and not sure when I can go. Any ideas on other transport options to get it to my home? Hire driver? Transport company…? Any odeas on costs?

Hi there - is the bus licensed and insured? That info will help determine the options. If not, or if it's not roadworthy, then you're looking at transport on a Landoll or other such trailer. If she's ready to drive, legally and safely, then that presents the option of hiring a qualified driver. For that option, you'd be looking at fuel and travel (to the bus, then back home from CA) plus the fees. Some drivers charge by the mile and some by the day.

Also, is the bus California emissions compliant? Regardless of who drives it, when you get to California if it's not compliant with their current emissions standards it's a hefty fine.

Bus is insured. And ready to drive. I had it checked by mechanic. Haven’t received title yet but was told it could be moved with bill of sale and trip permit. Any idea on where to find a driver?

Sounds like you're prepared...that's a good sign! I sent you a PM. There are a few folks here on the forum who do that.
