It really wouldn't take long to eval a bus.
#1 question I ask a seller when i'm thinking of buying a vehicle is.... WHY is this for sale? If it is just to make some money that is the worst. Real life sales people will either know nothing about a particular used vehicle on the lot or most likely outright lie to get it sold. And I am always suspicious if when I arrive the engine is already warmed. That is a very bad sign for a diesel buyer. A easy COLD START is a very good indicator of engine health.
Always arrive 30 min before you say you will to avoid the warmed engine situation . get ready to lay on the ground under a vehicle.
