We just bought our bus!

We're so excited we needed to share!

We just won the auction for our TC1000 transit bus. Just the right size!

We've been searching for about 2 years now and we finally got lucky enough to finally jump on something!

Now comes the overwhelming task of managing the build, FT work, and FT school! This was a step in the right direction regardless, and it's a dream come true for us.

If you have any tips, tricks, wisdom, advice, or anything to share please do, we're gonna need it!

Congratulations! There's tons of great info here, so if you've not yet lost countless hours browsing, I'm sure you will.

Welcome!

Almost everything for the TC1000 is the same as the TC2000. I've got manuals and diagrams on my web site.

That's a unique door you've got! Bus looks like 27-28 ft?

I think it is about 28, i don't have official good measurements yet, but thats about right.

I do like the middle door. It makes the whole thing look even more silly.

I'll absolutely be checking out the site for documentation and ideas. Thank you!

Thanks! I think so too, it's adorable and looks super derpy with its wheels so close together like that.

Congrats on your score!
It definitely pays to shop around and wait for just the right unit, rather than go for the low hanging fruit that might or might not really be what you were looking for.
Now comes the "fun" of conversion.
Enjoy...
