welder needed n Central FL

im hoping for a referral to someone good to design/fabricate some things on my bus. At a minimum i need to hang my generator (420lb diesel), put a hitch on back and build some boxes underneath, maybe more as i think about it.

I'm in Palm Bay (think melbourne or cocoa if not from here) and someone close would be nice, but i def will travel for the right guy/girl, (like hundreds of miles).

previous work on skoolies a plus, as is personal knowledge of their work or reputation.

i though i'd ask here before i broke out the map and darts.

thanks

Evan

Hey friend,
Also in Central Fl. Were you ever able to find a welder to work on those projects? We're in a similar situation. Parked in South St. Pete currently. Best of luck!

There are a few of us here who do this professionally...but if I have the mental map of locations right, we're all 1000+ miles away. If you do find someone in FL, let us know and I'll add him/her to my mental map!

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. We're definitely not opposed to travelling to someone who knows what they're doing. Getting some welding work done isn't crucial to the movement or structure of our bus. We're hoping to add a rooftop patio area, a back rack for storage, and some under-bus storage boxes.

I'll bet Florida's nice to visit right now! Good for you, if you get to go. It's 14 here right now...

We can't complain much this year but the high 20's sounds much better than 14 haha. That said, it might hit 50 here this week

Hey PA isn't out of the question for us! We have family there (also grew up there) and were planning on driving up that way this summer (although that won't be the only time). Where in central PA are you?

Ok! Grew up in Montgomery county, but I've got family all over - millersburg, lititz, lancaster, west chester, KOP.
