Well, an old Travco rv is new project
The new treasure is a 1971 Travco 27ft, 440Dodge engine and a 727 trans. Just about everything is junk, but the shape is great. I like art deco things. This rv has been in the weather at SLC, Ut for it's life. Got the unit yesterday and have begun the removal task. The interior must be stripped down to the framework. The brakes are bad and the engine smokes with a very bad Holley. I am very excited to make this rv over. First thing is to seal all places that more rain/snow can enter. The roof air and the vents are all junk. But this is a task of rebuilding. Frank

As beautiful as she will be upon completion it must be a labor of love..... but I know you'll get it done. you just gotta love it.
Congrats and best of luck, may everything fall into place. If you can get her inside out of the weather it could be a winter project....

Very cool indeed,
Is it all aluminum or fiberglass body?
Noticed no rust thru and maybe bare alum in front.
What does insid look like now...?...4 beavers and squirrel habitate?

Who told about the bugs, wasps, squirrels and mice. Some died as they ran out of food. Today was a beautiful fall day. The trees are giving up their leaves. Idaho is a wonderful place on this Earth. Hopeing many are enjoying life as I am. Frank

At least you have the 440 motor. A friend of mine had the same motorhome with a 318 motor. It could barely get out of it's own way.
His was a fiberglass body. I think they vintage ones were all fiberglass bodies.
