What bus has your favorite (exterior) paint job?
As I haven't even driven it home yet, it's a year or more away but who has your favorite exterior paint job. Here on Skoolie, the internet at large, or just goofy photochop. I went thru the photo albums but only looked at the album covers. If it was a painted bus I open the album. Would have thought there were more.

It seems to depend on your intended end use for your bus. I'm preparing to paint when the weather clears, but I'm going for a fairly nondescript paint job kind of like browncrown because I like to boondock.
I think Elliot's bus and a few others here have outstanding paint jobs.

There was a comment a few months back in another paint discussion and I don't remember who said i?
It said that you can go to ?sherwin Williams? Web-site and they have something like a virtual paint booth or something to that extent where you can transplant a photo of your room, bus and play with paint schemes to see what you like.
Sounds fun to play with

I'm stumped on what color I will choose. I thought about going with the colors of a sparrow with a splash of something else here and there.
That virtual booth sounds like fun.

Depends on where you want to camp...go simple if you want to be accepted into most RV parks as a lot of the private one have restrictions (which sometimes are just a way of keeping Skoolies out unfortunately)

...as far as crazy loud paint jobs go, I like the "BRAG" bus.....I think they covered just about all the colours.
I went with matte military green to blend in the bush.

This is more than just a paint job, but I love the vardo/fairy tale cottage thing it's got going on.
Would that get kicked out of a campground, you think?

I always liked the buses that have the rear porch looking like a caboose.

That'll get you kicked out of some countries!! I dunno why gypsies are hated but that has gypsy written all over it. I don't think my balls are big enough or furry enough to try and pull that one off.

I like the gypsy styling, but I like to keep herbal medications on me and that seems like it would maybe blow my cover.
I'm staying low key but classy with my exterior looks. Some paint and some chrome.

I prefer the caboose porch to the gypsy porch. Of course you're talking about dandilions, nettles, ferns, Oregon Grape root and such.
It's simple common sense to not draw attention to yourself unless you enjoy talking with officers that are board on their late shift. The most notable thing on the exterior of this bus will be its boring paint job. No stove pipe out the window, no party deck on top (although I'd like one), no painted over windows.
I'm told that mosquitos aren't as bad at the height of a roof deck. Can anyone confirm that or not?

Well... I'm the girl who was called weird even at an art school. (Haha, now that's a level of eccentric few can pull off!) I'd probably invite Officer Bored in for a cup of coffee and discuss video games with him for an hour.
