What does this button do?

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out what some of the switches on my bus do. Can anyone help? It's a 2001 International...um... something or other. I forget the model. If I need that for you to answer, I'll go get that.

I've attached pictures, and labeled the switches. Some of them are self-explanatory, but others I'm not too clear on. I also meant to take a picture of all the gauges on the dash so someone could tell me what all the dials mean, but I forgot, so I'll add that later. There is one filter monitor thing I labeled in the picture below. I'm wondering what that means. Also, I'm wondering what "Driver Stepwell" means. Anyway... see pictures below!

Best guesses:
B= clearance lamps. Those are the 5 amber across the top front of the bus, the 5 red across the top at the rear, a mix of amber and red along the sides.
C= white strobe light(s) mounted on the centerline of the roof toward the front and/or rear.
E= vacuum gauge. It measures the restriction to airflow, ie the dirtyness, of the engine air filter.
I= a pump that boosts circulation of coolant from engines to body heaters. It'll probably give more heat output from the heaters with this pump turned on.
J= two-speed switch for the blower on a heater under the seats somewhere.

When in doubt: start the engine, flip a switch, and walk around looking and listening inside and out to figure out what changed.

Drivers step well would be courtesy lamps.
If you use the big round mirrors you can see all the lights on the front of the bus work.

Family wagon and 01marc pretty much covered all the bases for you there. I see you have an air filter monitor, but it's best to do a visual inspection of the engine air cleaner.

While this is true, if you see a rapid change in the air cleaner gauge you'll know where to start looking for the power loss.
I'm glad mine has that gauge.
