What is this worth

2007 Diesel
Ford E450
118,000

Total Newbie and not sure if this is worth what they're asking. I suspect they want more than it is good for as it's been sitting there for over a month.

(I don't know the rust situation, or the tires, but will check it out... if their price is within a reasonable range).

A quick web search shows this would have the 6.0 diesel engine which seems to have a well earned bad reputation, probably not a great idea to buy at any price since engine work on any "van" is pretty miserable.
Just my 2 cents worth though.

You could get that engine "bullet proofed" for between $5000 and $10,000 if you like the rest of the bus that well.

Bulletproofing takes for granted that damage hasn't already been done. In 2008 that was a safe enough bet, in 2020 you'd only want to do it as part of a complete rebuild. $5k would buy you a very sweet bus with a better drive train all day long, 10k would get you the best bus platform ever produced. Dropping that on a van is gonna be a bad time!

Thanks everyone!

Very helpful responses! Thank you for all of your input.

I will be passing on the bus. Guy wants 7500 and I haven't even checked out the rust situation yet.
