What kind of shuttle bus window is this??

Hey everyone!

New member here, they call me Wicster. Love this community and have been lurking for a while now. I have recently built a skoolie conversion out of this Ford E-450 Starcraft shuttle bus. Upon driving today something happened and this front window was shattered. I've been searching for hours and I can't locate a replacement window for this. Does anyone here know how I can find one of these for replacement and has anyone else ever had this problem before? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks all for reading! I appreciate yall!

Wow, that is unfortunate. "something happened" and I'm guessing you aren't sure what? I'd guess possibly a collision (rock, bird, etc), or some kind of lateral stress either from body twist or from extra weight above the window. That's one thing to be careful of when refactoring these buses, the load you add might put stress somewhere you didn't plan for.

I don't know they you'll find a stock "this is part number xyz-42" type of answer. However, if you go to an auto glass repair place, they can probably measure and either manufacture or order glass that will fit that spot. It looks like the seal is still good, so they can reuse that.

Good luck!

I have the window from my e450 shuttle that I am removing, but I don't think it is the same shape. Will check today. Hey you can buy it so I have a few dollars to spend and still have the build 'free'.

Super helpful! Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help. Contacted an auto glass store and waiting on the repair. It's really good to know that some of these places can cover buses. That was one thing that had me worried.

To all future newbs like myself who come across this thread looking for the trapezoidal window...just hit up an auto glass store!

Yes removed the bus door. I'm removing the entire cab! Looking a little closer, your window IS a different shape than mine.
